CH 3
austin8109:
my Learning style
my primary learning style is,visual
my secondary learning style is,kinesthetic/tactile
my weakest learning style is,auditory
i wouldnt say that audtory is my weakest beacause i need all three things to learn the math and any other subject. i have to be able to hear it see it and be able to do it on my own.
Spenser: completely agree with you on the not really having a primary or a weak learning style all of them have just about the same effect on me.

Exam Error Analysis For Linear Equations In One Variable
aikman:
- I reviewed my home work problems and went over my notes.
- The same as I did before.
- I Understand all the concepts if I review 15 minutes a day.
- I need to work on bringing down my signs and checking my answers.
- They were all pretty easy for me, but the fractions were a little tricky for me.
Spenser: Agree with you about the concepts being easy in this chapter…

Self-Talk (Ch. 4)
1. Do math everyday… doing something daily no matter what it is, is a great way to get better at it.
2. Time management… knowing when to study and when not to study is a big part of an college class.
3. Good note taking… if you don’t have good notes and you want to look back on them for studying there is no point to even taking nots.
4. Going to class… by this i don’t actually mean going to class because I think I am pretty good at that but it is more of the having the right state of mind while being in class.
5. Studying… I know this class is basically a review class for me but I still should study a little bit for it.
6. Listening to the entire lecture… I tend to day dream half way into the lecture.
7. Resources… having your math book, notes, or something else to studying at at all times.

Techniques from the Learning Styles Survey (Ch.3)
- My leanring style would be visual based on the previous exercise…
- Secondary learning style was auditory…
- And my weakest learning style way kinesthetic/tactile
1. I rewrite so many things for memorization just because it comes easier and I pick up on it a lot faster.
2. I visualize my math notes every time I get stuck on a promblem during an exam.
3. I remember a lot more when someone goes step by step orally through math problems.
4. Listening in class first then rewriting the problem in my notes is very helpful to my learning.
5. Someone explaining a problem rather then reading about it out loud is another way I would be able to learn quicker.

Exam Error Analysis
—> I honestly didn’t study at all… I thought I knew all the problems pretty well.
—> Just depends if the material we are covering is new to me or not.
—> I understood all the material covered in this chapter for the most part.
—> If I had to pick I guess I would say the cancelling out the divisor method.
—> I found all the problems to be pretty easy in this chapter.

9/17 Exercise
Of the techniques discussed in this secction, which do you think will be the most effective in helping you with preparing for and taking exams? Are there techniques you don’t think you will use? Why?
—> The technique I think i will use the most is just studying notes and doing example problems for the book…
—> The note cards are something that I have done before but don’t find it very helpful so I will not be using that technique at all…

Exam Error Analysis…
—> I didn’t study at all for this exam…

—> I understand the Order of Opperations…
—> I am pretty comfortable with this information…
—> I would rate the problems all pretty much the same… easy
